Malaysian Education System is a Shithole.

if you don't agree with me, it's either you are a burger/ ma chan/ wan tan OR you study/ have studied in a matriculation college.

i am really disappointed to find out that the latest batch of ukm pharmacy students consists of only 6 STPM students! how pathetic...6 out of 30 plus chinese. need i tell where the rest come from? it's getting worse each year. at least in my batch, 2/3 of the chinese are STPM students. the following batch, 1/3. guess there'll be NO STPM juniors anymore next year.
oh..my housemate just told me that there's only 1 STPM student in ukm's dentistry course.

that explains why STPM students are offered shitty courses and universities that are never heard of. i never knew the existence of KUKUM/ KUSTEM till my friends got offered there. i seriously don't understand why our local unis offer courses that nobody will be interested in, or worse still, don't know what they are all about.

take these courses for example :

samudera, sains kognitif, bio pemuliharaan, kejuruteraan metalurgi

imagine yourself being offered such courses. you can't even imagine what you will learn in the 1st place, don't even think about job prospects. masuk shithole terus only.

how can they compare STPM with matriculation examination results?
theirs are internal exam, which means their teacher would have easily given them tips before the papers. and their CGPA are cumulative. if they don't do well in the 1st term, it's ok. all they need to do is to push harder for the next term. if they still can't score, what can i say....they are totally brainless.

as for STPM, we are only given ONE chance to prove ourselves. you fall sick/ have diarrhea/ break up with your partner the day before/ get distracted by the annoying crazy frog song due to some events going on in front of smi/ suffer a temporary memory loss.... then you are gone. you can kiss the local uni goodbye and say hello to the shithole. ok, maybe not that bad. can always opt for private unis. what about those whose parents can't afford that? yes. they can easily get a loan, scholarship..bla bla bla...but that applies to certain courses only. they can only dream about studying medicine.

where is the justice?
more and more deserving students don't get what they should...
more and more undeserving ones are getting what they shouldn't get in the 1st place.
WTF.

i call this system a total shithole.
